Made in Africa: The Cross Trainer launches its own clothing brand called XT

With our roots firmly planted in South Africa, it is a no brainer to design and manufacture our own street fashion and athleisure wear – that is locally manufactured and uses local designers.

The XT Range will empower female owned businesses, South African designers and artists. Created from environmentally friendly materials, the XT Range will celebrate South African heritage and bring some African finesse to the world.

To kick off the launch, top home-grown talents like DJ Speedsta, Kim Jayde, Material Don Dada and Bontle Smith have teamed up with the XT Range to create a video in Cape Town titled 'Find the Others'. While each individual is unique, but their love for fashion allows them to find each other and this makes their differences all that much more perfect.

The launch itself took place at the Sandton store, where South African creativity and talent was celebrated and some lucky winners had the opportunity to hang out with local celebrities.

Exclusively stocked in 30 selected The Cross Trainer stores and available online, the XT range will be available from the 24th March.
